  • 1  p.m.   -Kids stuff 2010 NEW!   Animal Tracks & Scat Identification with Kim  (We have 10 new resin mold displays of native critter scat - yep, "poo", for you to test your tracking abilities.  We will then be matching the corresponding tracks to each critter on a magnetic board.  Everyone gets a treat.  And no, the treat is not a sample of the "poo" to take home, sheesh.)

 

  • 2 - 5 p.m.   Ear Candling with Kim.   $25 for approx. 25 minutes, includes two candles.    (See PDF)

 

 

 

 

  •    3 p.m.  NEW!  Row Boat Races with Kris (teenage mixer activity--competing for ice cream treats :))

 

 

  • 6 - 7 p.m. - NEW!   Edible Stuff in Nature Cooking Class - $10  Want to try some pine needle tea?   Sauteed flowers?   Learn about pounding cattail flour, brewing sumac wine, picking the right greens (i.e. sorrel, chickweed, borage, etc.) 

 

 

  • 7 p.m.  -  Board Game & MOVIE night (if you're the only one in your family who enjoys board games, here's your chance to play and have fun with others like you.  We play Pictionary, Taboo, Scattegories, etc. as teams - you get to know your neighbor cabin dwellers in interesting ways  J)   2010 season, we'll be showing "Brother Bear", rated G, if anyone is interested.  FREE Popcorn

 

    

 

 

Tuesday   

      

  • 1 p.m.     -Kids stuff:  Indoor Craft Hour NEW!  2010-We're painting wood slices to create a CWC refrigerator magnet.

 

  • 6 p.m. Float Plane Rides!   An area pilot is now offering 20-30 minute plane rides from our resort (weather permitting only) in his 1957 "Beaver" seaplane.   $250 ($50 person for group of 5 people) (cash, MC/VISA only)  www.lakecountryairservice.com   (We loved that everyone gets a headset and microphone to talk to each other during the flight - awesome)

 

  • 7 - 9 p.m. - The Bead Lady, Miss Sara, will be here offering supplies for several beading projects ($6 - $22 per project: rings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, etc.)

 

         

 

Wednesday 

  • NEW!  Sundrop Massage w/ Judy Merritt (see pdf flyer) ($15 - 50)

 

  • 1 p.m.  -  Youth Pool Table tournament ($1.00 game) (OR Hillbilly Golf for young'uns under 12 without an adult to supervise their pool skills :) )

 

  • Noon - 6 p.m.  Ionic Detox Foot Bath Sessions available $25 - 30 minutes, three persons at a time possible

 

 

  • 2-6 p.m. -  Aura Photos with Michele Bergh (see PDF)

 

 

  • 2-6 p.m. - Tree Readings  with Kayla  (see PDF)

 

 

  • 8 p.m. - Drumming circle (oh yes, our neighbors around the lake LOVE this activity!  It's a hoot.  We have a great big buffalo drum, and many smaller drums and rattles.   No experience required.  J

  • 1 p.m.  -  Kid's Fishing Contest   --  Prize for biggest and littlest fishy.  Everyone gets a treat!  (Bring your own equipment and bait - dock fishing only.)

 

  • 3 p.m. -  Sand Sculpture Contest

              (winners' wonderfully creative photos are in a

                         scrapbook in the lodge to view)

                                

 

  • 7 p.m.   -  Potluck Luau  - Wear your loudest shirt, bring your puu-puus, and stuff yourself silly!

  • Open Mike Night -After potluck, if there's interest, sometimes we hook up the microphone, and anyone with a joke or story can get their 5 minutes of fame!  It's a forum for performers:  we've had cloggers and skits and totally made-up poems recited.  Anything goes as long it's family oriented (*hint*hint*)

 

  • Sing-a-long - if anyone's interested after potluck, Kim will bring her guitar out and we can sing-a-long to folk songs out of the 60+ songbooks.   Or, better yet, bring your own guitar down and we'll sing with YOU! J

Friday

  • Do all the fun things you haven't already done, clean up and take care of tab at lodge

Post-Potluck Poker Players . . .

Spontaneous tournaments of horse shoes, basketball, bocchi ball, and odd games like Ollie Ollie Oxen Free break out all the time.  Depends on who's here and how open you are to joining in . . . . . . . . . be ready to have some fun at CWC!!!
