The lodge and six cabins at CWC are currently more accessible to the disabled individual than most cabins at traditional MN resorts.  They all have vinyl, wood, or low pile carpet for ease of rolling a wheelchair around on.  Keep in mind there's lots of grassy areas, the drive is hard packed sand and the only sidewalks are at the lodge.

Depending on your abilities, a vacation here may not be possible for you, but we have made efforts to accommodate many people with a wide range of motion restrictions in order to bring more families together on vacation so that they, too, can enjoy the fun and serenity of mother nature's healing embrace.  We welcome suggestions and questions.

--------------------------

The Lodge has a sidewalk leading from the hard packed sand driveway.  There is a small cement ramp to the main entrance either leading into the building or leading forward onto the wrap around lodge deck to front lakeside.  (for more photos and info click "Lodge")

This lodge dock almost ALWAYS has the pontoon moored to it on the left (instead of the tracker boat you see in photo below).  Although we have no special ramp, the pontoon has been accessible to many of our wheelchair user guests previously, who have simply wheeled aboard.
