Our family started visiting the Hawaiian Islands more than 20 years ago and have been vacationing there every year since. Starting out with timeshare vacations, we eventually thought we’d like a more stable piece of real estate we could really put our personal touch on and share with others.

Hence, we looked at condos for sale for several years before happily finding this one at Kona Pacific. We really liked the solid structure (it’s a civil defense building, isn’t that comforting?), the floor plan, all the amenities and of course, the LOCATION. We did not wish to be “ON” the ocean with storm waves worrying us or the constant need to clean salt off the windows, but we wanted to be within walking distance of shore and other activities, and this unit fit the bill perfectly for us.  We hope you find the half block walk to the ocean, seaside cafes, luaus, and local shopping district as accessible as we do. 

Kim & Big John briefly lived here on Hawaii a few miles south of Kailua-Kona in coffee orchard country.  Living with the natives gave them an opportunity to experience the warm and generous nature of local folks, and "off the beaten track" local foods and hangouts.  Scroll down to end of page for a list of their favorites (things NOT on the normal tourist roster).
