Shaklee Recipe

Fill gallon jug with warm tap water

4 teaspoons Basic-H

2 – 4 Tablespoons Aromatherapy Essential Oil

(peppermint, pine,  cinnamon,  clove, lemongrass, tea tree, etc.)

 

Dr. Bronner’s Recipe

Fill gallon jug with warm tap water

4 Tablespoons Dr. Bronner’s All-One Castile Liquid Soap

any scent (peppermint, almond, lavender, unscented)

 

(Hint:  fill gallon jug with water first, then add soap)

 

Homemade Recipe

Fill gallon jug with hot/warm tap water

1/8 cup borax     (disinfects, deodorizes, inhibits mold growth)

1/8 cup vinegar (cuts grease, freshens air, dissolves mineral build-up, inhibits mold)

2 – 4 Tablespoons Essential Aromatherapy Oil

     (i.e. peppermint, pine, cinnamon, lemon, clove, lemongrass, tea tree, etc.)

optional: 1/8 cup washing soda (additional de-greaser- but don’t use on    

                                                                                                                             fiberglass)

optional:  1 Tablespoon liquid soap (i.e. Dr. Bronner’s)

Fill gallon jug with warm tap water

½ teaspoon Basic-H

1 cup vinegar

 

Saturate carpet or upholstery spot with cleaning solution.  Rub with clean cotton cloth or natural bristle brush. Soak up excess liquid with cloth.  If an oil-based stain, try a little Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap to the mix

for either clothing or carpet issues.
