Do NOT rely on your GPS

Bring a MN map with you, or print out directions, as we've had several comments from guests their GPS routed them an extra 40 minutes - 2 hours delay on a rather non-direct route.

Crow Wing Crest Lodge is located 8 miles west of Walker and 17 miles east of Park Rapids in North Central Minnesota.  Estimate 3 hours drive time north of Twin Cities.  It takes our family 7 hours on average from central Iowa (Nevada-Ames).   It's a two hour drive to Fargo, or a two hour drive to Duluth.

Turn right onto State Highway 34 (it's also still State Highway 64, they merge for a mile) and follow to outskirts of town (approximately 1 mile).

You will see a sign that says State Highway 64 to Bemidji, turn left (north).

Drive about a mile OVER the lake (make sure you see water on both sides) and turn right onto gravel County Road 23.

We're less than a mile on the right.  (If you can't see the lake on your right any more, you've gone too far.)

Look for big sign!
