TWO POSSIBLE TIME FRAMES
Long Weekend Middle of June: June 4-8, 2025 only. Drive up on Wednesday afternoon for a long weekend, and drive home Sunday morning.
If the weather is cool and overcast, the fishin's usually fantastic. The kids can play in the lodge, mom can get a massage. If the weather is warm and sunny, well heck, then there's no need for us to tell ya what to do --- get your buns to our beach and enjoy!
June Mid-Week:
Drive up on Monday afternoon and leave Friday by noon, June 9-13, 2025 only.
(If you'd like a week during this period - we will honor the off-season discounted weekly rate. You will need to call us to get this rate - the on-line booking system will not offer this.)
Typically it is rather peaceful here (for guests! we are often doing some last minute projects to get up and running for summer season, heh) at resort during this cusp 10 day period between our Spring Healer's Retreat weekend (always fully booked all 19 cabins) and first week of prime-time summer with it's daily scheduled activities.
Lodge is still available for you to visit arcade room, borrow puzzles and books, watch a movie in the corner on a rainy day, or grab a snack.
This has been a great way for newbies to check out the resort in summer for a shorter stay and get a feel for cabins and the lake experience. We'll frequently get a few folks who repeatedly last minute book a cabin during this time to take advantage of the better fishing in June, the migrating birds, and the quieter beach (July can be very communal at the beach.) Sometimes the more shy local critters will wander through the resort grounds (wild turkeys on a cabin deck, porcupine waddling up a tree near the basketball court, red fox skirting around a campfire ring, etc.)
