Cabin 10 – The Wildflower Cabin

LUXURY 3-bedroom CABIN:  Jacuzzi jet tub & fireplace!  Wildflowers growing in front of cabin.  On back row, but with view of lake (see pics below.)  Repeat guests say their favorite thing is having two bathrooms (w/ bathtub!), lots of beds (5, + sofa bed) and a spacious kitchen w/ two dining tables to spread out upon.  Plus, this cabin is one of the most private with LOTS of parking (really, lots.)   They also say they appreciate the extra refrigerator in screened porch.  1,220 square feet.

• King master bedroom downstairs
• Private Queen bedroom up (new bed 2021)
• Dorm bedroom up: double/twin bunk plus extra twin bed
• Sofa bed futon in living room
• Jacuzzi Whirlpool Spa bathtub (w/ shower) downstairs
• 2nd floor bathroom w/ shower
• A/C in all three bedrooms (plus two desk fans and a ceiling fan in dining area)

• Gas Fireplace (& baseboard electric heat)
• Big deck
• Screened porch shared with other side of duplex (w/ 2 Beer & Bait refrigerators, one for each side)
• LOTS of parking (8 vehicles or three+ trailers)
• Handicap Access 1st level (toilet grib bars, no cupboard underneath lavatory sink, extra wide front entry door.  Unfortunately, lower level has no access bath/shower combo, kitchen cupboards standard.)
• Weekly rate is 7 days/six nights, 6th night is FREE
• *Rate is for 1-8 people (10 max. w/ extra person charges)

• NOTE:  this cabin is a duplex (other side is Cabin #9) built with extra soundproofing between the units.  The only shared item is screened porch (to give a little more privacy to each deck.)    Over the years we've asked guests if they have been bothered by guest family sounds from other side of duplex and we keep hearing "nope, except for an occasional accidental cupboard slam - we overhear MORE from people talking through the open windows of cabins #8 or #17 or #16, ha!")

If you are looking for a resort for heavy drinking and all-night partying, do not choose us. Quiet time after 10:00 p.m.  (When Akeley city test siren sounds each evening.)
